Meet the founders

While dating, Kweku and Sarah took a trip to his home country of Ghana to meet his family. There, they were confronted with the devastating ecological destruction and vast mountains of waste resulting from the "donated" used clothes industry.

Upon their return to the United States, they were engaged to be married and embarked on a shared mission to inspire minimal living while collectively funding the cleanup and support of communities in affected regions worldwide.

Timeline

The couple started by contributing all their day-job income into creating a clothing brand to demonstrate how a brand should function, and creating a non-profit organization with the goal of bringing other clothing brands and individuals together to contribute to solving the fashion waste issue.

Kweku and Sarah realized the only way change comes is to lead by example. So they went ahead and created a clothing brand to encourage a sustainable lifestyle and a non-profit to have direct impact in cleaning up Ghana through education.
